March 2023 – Coach David McKey, a beloved coach at O. Henry Middle school, announced his retirement after the student v. faculty game. The students were sad to see him go, but happy that he got to retire. He had been coaching at O.Henry for 23 years! McKey coached many sports in his time at O. Henry, but he said that basketball was always his favorite. All of the O. Henry Mustangs wish him a wonderful retirement. Coach McKey will always be remembered as a great coach at O.Henry Middle school.
